How we help
The Palestinian Community of Western Australia (PCWA) is a not-for-profit community organisation that aims to aid the wellbeing, sense of belonging and connection to culture and tradition of Palestinian-Australians and Australians of Palestinian backgrounds.
Since 2024, capacity to help support Palestinians seeking refuge in Australia was strengthened, with a primarily focused on supporting newly arrived families. PCWA can also facilitate support for members of the broader Palestinian community in Western Australia.
PCWA offers case worker and community engagement support in partnership with other not-for-profit organisations to help ensure individuals and families can access the services and providers where they are need. This may include:
- Accomodation support
- Transport support
- English language support
- Education and skill development support
- Job opportunity support
- Health and medical support
- Social engagement
- Other community services

PCWA Inc. was established in 2009 and incorporated in 2013, as a volunteer led, not-for-profit community organisation.

Acknowledgement
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, and recognise that we live and work on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands.
